Your Friendly Land Rover Club Buxton & District Land Rover Club Ltd Trials Supplementary Regulations 2007 On TBC at TBC BADLRC will be holding a Off Road Trial PERMIT No: TBC Grade:- Clubsport Closed to BADLRC only. 1. Buxton & District Land Rover Club (hereafter referred to as BADLRC) will organise off road trials (ORT) under the following regulations. 2. The event will be held under the general rules and regulations of the MSA. (incorporating the provision of the international Sporting code of the FIA). These Supplementary Regulations and any written instruction issued by the organisers. All vehicles will be subject to Scrutineering and this will take place in the designated area from 08:55 till 09:50 Drivers must also be signed on by this time. 3. The facts to be judged by the marshal on section who are deemed to be judges of fact. Points are awarded for striking canes, stopping on section or leaving the boundary, or for crossing your tracks on any part of a section. Any disputes should be brought to the attention of the scoring marshal and if not resolved the C of C or Steward. Any competitor being abusive to an official will be excluded. Each section will consist of 10 gates with a maximum of 12 observed sections. Practising is not allowed. 3A. It is the competitors responsibility to ensure they are signed on on the official sheet for the event. Failing to comply may result in you being removed from the results. 4. Vehicle eligibility :- All vehicles and competitors must comply with the MSA regulations a detailed in the current MSA Blue book and BADLRC technical regulations. Tyres are to be road legal no open tread e.g. Maxicross or Dumper tyres, fiddle brakes or axle lockers are not allowed in any class. 5. The maximum entry for each event will be 50 the minimum will be 5. The organisers reserve the right to amalgamate classes as necessary on the day, and details will be advised at the competitors briefing . A competing driver is not permitted to be a passenger in any other competing vehicle. The entry fee will be £10.00. In the event of the event being cancelled 1/2 the entry fee will be refunded. In the event of retirement those sections not attempted will score 10 points. The running order will be by means of a draw at the start of each observed section 6. The event will consist of 4 vehicle classes :- Standard Class Any standard vehicle with out altered chassis or Modified classes consist of any vehicle with chassis modifications Within the two classes there will be three groups as follows:- Class1 vehicles with a wheelbase of 86” or less Class2 vehicles with a wheelbase of more than 86” but less than 93” Class3 vehicles with a wheel base of 93” and above 7. Competitors are reminded of their right of protest and appeal, as described in the current MSA competitors yearbook. 8. The minimum age for passengers is 14 years and they must be seated along side the driver during all observed sections. 9. A suitable tow rope should be carried in each vehicle 10. It is recommended that each vehicle carries a fire extinguisher min 2lt as MSA blue book section Q3.1.1 11. Driver must attend the drivers briefing at 10:00 and obey any special instructions. 12. All BADLRC Trials will be run to the Current BADLRC Trial Rules as published in the first edition of BADNEWS for the following season, and incorporating the MSA trial rules as detailed in the current MSA Blue Book. The MSA rules are a minimum requirement and may in some instances be superseded by the clubs trial rules.
