Detailed below is a brief outline of the main events that the club hold throughout the year. For further details please see the relevant event page and the calendar for events that we have planned for the year ahead.
BADLRC hold a series of trials at various venues throughout the year. Vehicles compete in several classes, and the events form part of a closed club trials championship. A trial usually consists of eight sections marked with a series of gates set out over undulating terrain; the idea is to drive from gate ten through the section to gate one without touching any gates or losing forward motion. These events will be open to a number of invited MSA clubs as non-championship events.
The Entry fee for trials during 2017 is TBC

From the latin for 'beginners', tyros are the entry level event for new comers and young drivers using standard road going vehicles. No preparation is necessary as the course is set-out over very mild terrain. We would recommend these events to anybody wanting to start trialling, as tyros are an excellent foundation for developing and expanding the skills in a safe and controlled environment. We run a number of these events throughout the year and they also form part of our tyro championship. These events are for competitors aged 13+, provided they have an experienced trials driver sitting next to them to advise them. Tyro's are really good fun; look out for them on the club calendar, just turn up on the day and have a go. These events are family events and within the criteria of the regulations the family can sit in the car during the event.
These events will be open to a number of invited MSA clubs as non-championship events.
The entry fee for tyros during the year will be £5.
