                                                                                Your Friendly Land Rover Club

The BADLRC Hollinsclough Trophy Navigational Scatter 2007 will take place on Sunday 9th September 2007, starting from Primitive Hall Chelmorton, meeting at 09:30am for a 10:00am start.

The event will consist of a number of navigational map reading exercises and will be suitable for the whole family. You will not need a Land Rover or any other type of 4x4 to take part, the vehicle will for the purpose of the event be a means of transport form one point to another. There will not be a fixed route and it is up to you to work out the best route to visit the points and get to any control points within the given time window. You will need either OS Landranger sheet No. 119 Matlock & Buxton, or OS Outdoor Leisure Sheet No.24 Peak District ~ White Peak Area. You will also need a number pencils for marking the map and a eraser a clip board, and a couple of pens for marking the answer sheet. You will need to be able to work with 6 figure grid references in order to plot the locations of the clues. When you arrive at the point one of your team will be required to get out of the vehicle to record the code board or information requested at that location. e.g. at a given grid reference you might be asked to record a code board on the back of the gate post. all clues will be clearly marked and will be white laminated sheets clearly stating BADLRC Hollinslcough Navigational Scatter 2007 and then the word or code that you will need to record in bold letters. underneath at the bottom it will state that this clue is part or a authorised navigational event authorised by the MSA and this clue will be removed at the end of the event by a club official.
